Reaction to Presentations: Day 2

The group presentations throughout today's class, helped me to further the topics to choose from for the final case study essay and presentation. Furthermore, chapter 9 on Atlanta, Georgia helped me realize that it may be a good idea to talk about the population growth within Seattle, Washington. More specifically, Seattle is known to be the 18th largest city within the United States of America and within more recent years has had an annual growth rate of 2.1%. Lastly, looking into not only the increasing population but also the problems that may come with this would be interesting.  

Reaction to Presentations

After listening to the group presentations, they helped me to narrow down what I would like to do for my own case study on the city of Seattle, WA. With Seattle being on an isthmus, with it laying between Puget Sound and Lake Washington, I think looking more into water pollution within the city would be interesting. Lastly, there are a few orca conservancy groups throughout and around the city which would also make it interesting to look further into pollution in order to see if it affects the species at all.
